Starlink Promotions ("we," "us") provides marketing solutions for local businesses, including TextBack (missed-call text-back service), ad management, and custom funnels. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, business name, phone number, email address, and business type — collected through our pilot signup and quote request forms.
- Service data: for TextBack customers, we log forwarded calls and text messages (caller phone numbers, timestamps, and message content) as needed to operate the service and produce your monthly report.
How we use your information
- To set up, operate, and support the services you request.
- To contact you about your pilot, quote, or account.
- To send service alerts and monthly TextBack reports.
- To improve our services.
Text messaging (SMS) disclosures
- Messages to you: if you request a pilot or use our services, we may send you text messages about your account, setup, and service alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help.
- TextBack reply texts: when someone calls your business and you don't answer, our system sends that caller a one-to-one reply text from your TextBack number. The caller opted in by placing the call — the text is a direct reply, sent within about a minute, naming your business. Message frequency varies with your missed-call volume. Message and data rates may apply. Callers can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, Twilio for message delivery and our hosting provider), and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. We retain service data only as long as needed to operate your services and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can opt out of marketing emails or texts at any time using the opt-out instructions in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of service-critical messages (such as missed-call alerts) may limit how TextBack works for you.
